Governance
At Rivergum Christian College, we are a parent-governed school and a member of Christian Education National (CEN).
A distinctive of CEN schools is their governance model. We believe schools ought to be primarily accountable to the parent community they serve, rather than to a government, church, or denomination. It is to parents that God has given the responsibility of nurturing their children, and our governance structure reflects this belief.
The Association
Torrens Valley Christian School exists under an incorporated Association whose objective is to establish and maintain a school providing Christian education based on the principles of the Word of God.
The Association is responsible for the School’s continued existence. It is made up of Christian parents and like-minded Christian people who believe that education is not neutral. Members share a conviction that the school should be an extension of the home and therefore actively promote a distinctly Christian worldview.
Association members elect the Board of Directors from among their ranks to govern the School, ensuring leadership remains aligned with the School’s vision, mission, and biblical foundation.

The Torrens Valley Christian School Board currently governs TVCS and operates as the governing body for Rivergum Christian College (RCC).
